On behalf of the congress organizing committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the 13th International Congress of Stereology (ICS-13) which will be held at Tsinghua University, Beijing, P. R. China, from October 19 - 23, 2011. It is the 13th quadrennial conference of the International Society for Stereology (ISS).
The ICS-13 will include oral and poster sessions, prospective authors will be invited to present their latest results in all areas of stereology. It is a pleasure to request you to consider submitting your latest research to ICS-13. The deadline for submitting your abstracts is May 20, 2011. You are kindly recommended to visit the congress website for details at .
Scientific Committee of ICS-13 will distribute Young Stereologist Competition Award to young researcher or scholar who has presented an outstanding paper at the ICS-13. The award ceremony will be part of the ICS-13. The Young Stereologist Competition Awards is sponsored by ISS and distributed quadrennially.
The Board of ISS will distribute H-E Bursaries Fellowship to young attendants coming from developing countries. The value of the grants is no less than €500 for each recipient. Ten recipients will be granted. The payoff ceremony of the fellowship will also be part of the ICS-13. Recipients will be selected from the applicants by Board of the ISS.
The organizing committee of ICS-13 will reduce 50% Registration Fee for full time student. Full time students should provide proof of full time status by fax or e-mail when submitting their registration and payment.
